Overview. This short hike leads to popular climbing routes. While this is more for climbers than hikers, it's a lot of fun watching them do their work. Red River Gorge remains one of the most popular climbing destinations in the U.S.
Trailhead. The trailhead has limited roadside parking both south and north of East Fork Indian Creek. To get there, take Nada Tunnel Road (KY-77) and turn onto North Fork Road (KY-613, CR-1202). Turn right onto E Fork Indian Creek Road (CR-1203) and look for parking just before the split of Indian Creek Road and CR-1203. [map]
Trail navigation. This is a simple out and back route covering just 0.4 miles each way. Take your time either way and enjoy the views of sheer rock faces that keep climbers busy.
